The dance performance HANG OUT deals with collective hanging out as a conscious act of doing nothing, which also addresses major issues such as belonging, identity and the temporary appropriation of public and social spaces.

Who are we as individuals? What is our collective identity? How much space do we occupy and how is this space shaped and negotiated through body, voice and music? Three dancers and a musician dock with scaffolding poles and scaffolding, creating moments in which they approach, occupy and transform space.
